Guelph’s Wellness Hub

About Grassroots

Owned by a thriving couple, Hong and Ryan have created a space where Guelph can feel good from the inside and out. Hong has over 12 years’ experience as a fitness instructor as well as a background in nutrition, while Ryan is certified in the Academy of Culinary Nutrition with a background in business. They started this company out of their love of wellness, whether that means good food or staying active – Grassroots is inclusive of everyone’s definition of “healthy living”.

The selection of products and menu items has been built to meet the growing demand of the health-minded consumer who is meticulous about what they buy and what they put into their body.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the re-structuring of our business.  With our accelerated growth these last 2 years, the reassessment of our operations is imperative.  We are extremely excited for the next chapter of Grassroots but in order to achieve this, we will need to focus the majority of our time and energy into this process, forcing us to close off the eatery for the remainder of 2021, effective immediately, with a re-launching date of Jan 2022.   This has been a difficult decision but we have no doubt it is also the right decision!   We thank our staff, the entire community of Guelph as well as our regular guests that come from across Southern Ontario to support our small business.  We promise to be back in the new year with something tastier, bigger and better than what we are offering today.
The studio is still operating as usual, and we will still be offering meal prep/catering services to our guests.

With so much love and gratitude,
Hong & Ryan 🙏💚
